SBN Now App Update

• Have you updated your SBN Now App on your Apple TV? This must be done first before any login or password reset attempts are made.

• To update the app on Apple TV:

o Navigate to the App Store

o Select the SBN Now App

o Check for any updates and click them

• Once this has been completed, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password.

Password Reset Instructions:

1. Using a mobile device (not within a mobile app) or computer, go to watch.sonlifetv.com. 

2. Reset your Password by using one of the two following options: 

   • Click on "Forgot Password"- this will send a link to your email address that you can use to reset your password to gain access to the site.

   • If you choose this option, you will need to Login with the email and new password you set when reaccessing watch.sonlifetv.com

   • Click on "Prefer a Login Code?- Use the email you registered with to receive a Code that you can login with instead of using your email and password. This will email you a code that you can use to login with at watch.sonlifetv.com

3. Once the user has logged into watch.sonlifetv.com, open the TV app.

4. Using the code from the TV app, go to watch.sonlifetv.com/activate (or scan the QR code on your TV) and enter the TV app code that is provided on your TV. This will log you into the TV app.

• Have you updated your SBN Now App on your Roku TV? This must be done first before any login or password reset attempts are made.

• To update the app on Roku:

o Click the Home Button on your remote

o Highlight the app by moving over to it with the navigation buttons

o Press the star (*) button on your remote

o In the option list, choose “Check for updates”

o After checking for the update, choose the update

o Once completed, open the SBN Now App.

Password Reset Instructions:

1. Using a mobile device (not within a mobile app) or computer, go to watch.sonlifetv.com. 

2. Reset your Password by using one of the two following options: 

   • Click on "Forgot Password"- this will send a link to your email address that you can use to reset your password to gain access to the site.

   • If you choose this option, you will need to Login with the email and new password you set when reaccessing watch.sonlifetv.com

   • Click on "Prefer a Login Code?- Use the email you registered with to receive a Code that you can login with instead of using your email and password. This will email you a code that you can use to login with at watch.sonlifetv.com

3. Once the user has logged into watch.sonlifetv.com, open the TV app.

4. Using the code from the TV app, go to watch.sonlifetv.com/activate (or scan the QR code on your TV) and enter the TV app code that is provided on your TV. This will log you into the TV app.

• Have you updated your SBN Now App on your IOS Device (iPhone/iPad)? This must be done first before any login or password reset attempts are made.

• To update your IOS Device (iPhone/iPad):

o Go to the “App Store” app on your device. (click here for direct link)

o Click on the search bar option

o Search “SBN Now”

o Click the app and then click the “Update” option within the app description info

o Once complete, open the SBN Now App.

• Once this has been completed, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password.

• To update your Amazon Fire TV/Fire Stick

o Highlight the app by using the navigation buttons to get to it on your Home screen or in your apps library

o Once on the app (don’t open it yet!), press the Menu button (stacked 3 horizontal lines) on the remote

o Select “More Info”

o An “Update” option will appear, and you will select it and wait for the completion

• Once this has been completed, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password.

• Have you deleted and redownloaded the SBN App?  You must do so in order to log in to the new app. Once you have completed this step, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password and complete the login.

• To delete and reinstall the app on an Android device:

Click to download the SBN NOW app

o Go to the SBN Now App currently on your device

o Press and hold the app icon until you see the options

o Select the uninstall icon (or drag to the trash icon)

o To re-install, open the Google Play Store

o Tap your profile icon, then choose “Manage apps & devices”, and then “Manage”

o Tap the “Installed” filter button at the top and switch it to “Not Installed”

o Locate the SBN Now app and tap the “Install” button

• Once this has been completed, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password.

o Open the “Appstore”

o Select the “Menu” icon (stacked three horizontal line) in the top left corner

o Select “App Updates”

o If the update is available, tap “Update” next to the application

• Once this has been completed, you may go through the SBN Now Guidance steps to reset your password.

 In the meantime you can watch SonLife Broadcasting Network on the You Tube app included with your tv

Once a viewer is logged in, as long as they launch the app within 30 days, they will stay logged in.  It only logs someone out if they don’t use it for 30 days.

As of right now we do not have an exact timeline, but our team is working diligently. In the meantime, you can watch the SBN Now live feed on You Tube.
